Individual Counseling
Individual counseling provides personalized attention and support tailored to the unique needs, goals, and experiences of the individual. The therapist focuses solely on the client's concerns, providing a safe and confidential space to explore personal challenges and develop strategies for growth. Additionally, it provides a space for self-reflection and self-exploration. It allows individuals to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their beliefs, values, strengths, and areas for growth in a confidential and safe space. Increased self-awareness empowers individuals to make positive changes, make informed decisions, and live more authentically aligned lives.

Therapeutic Approach
Existential Lens:
Grounded in existential philosophy, my therapeutic approach focuses on understanding and embracing the inherent human condition. I work collaboratively with clients to explore the fundamental questions of existence, including the meaning of life, freedom, responsibility, and the search for personal authenticity. I help clients navigate the complexities of their existence, supporting them in developing their own values, finding purpose, and making empowered choices. By examining existential themes, I encourage clients to live more fulfilling lives aligned with their deepest desires and values.
IFS (Internal Family Systems):
I also integrate the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model into my therapy practice. IFS views the individual as composed of different internal parts, each with unique thoughts, emotions, and perspectives. Through gentle exploration, I help clients identify and understand their different parts, facilitating an internal dialogue and fostering self-compassion. By cultivating an accepting and curious stance towards these parts, I guide clients towards internal harmony, self-empowerment, and personal integration.
Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT):
As a level 1 certified Emotionally Focused Individual Therapist, I understand the importance of emotional connection and its impact on our well-being. EFIT helps individuals explore their emotions, attachment patterns, and relationship dynamics to foster secure and meaningful connections. In our sessions, I’ll work to provide a safe and nurturing environment where clients can express and explore their emotions, allowing for healing, growth, and the development of healthier relationships with self and others.
Expressive Arts Modalities:
Incorporating expressive arts modalities, such as Sandtray Therapy and other creative techniques, invites clients to access their inner wisdom, symbolism, and subconscious through non-verbal means. Sandtray Therapy offers a three-dimensional space for clients to construct and explore their inner world using miniatures and sand. This approach allows for the expression and processing of emotions, memories, and experiences that may be difficult to articulate verbally. I also integrate other expressive arts techniques, such as drawing, writing, and collage, tailored to each client's preferences and needs. These modalities provide additional avenues for self-expression, insight, and healing, allowing clients to tap into their creativity and engage in a transformative therapeutic process.
Holistic Person-Centered Approach:
With a holistic view of clients' well-being, I consider the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in my therapeutic approach. I attend to the whole person, taking into account physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of your lived experience. My aim is to facilitate growth and balance across these dimensions, helping clients find harmony and wholeness in their lives.
